A number of projects and schemes are afoot at various levels for social uplift. Amongst them our modest project is an humble contribution in the direction of Social betterment.
Distinctive features of the UniversityBecause it being a mother cow university, all the courses of study here will be related to mother cow in one way or the other. Such courses will be imparted as will bear out that fact that only mother cow is the centre and source of social transformation because she can pave the path of economic, social, cultural and spiritual advancement. Not only this mother cow is our veritable liberator.
Without services, we cannot acquire knowledge and wisdom since all the courses, will be based on mother cow, it will be necessary to serve the mother cow first. She will be pleased with her service and as such the path of learning will be much easier.
This university will be located near Chiploon in Ratnagiri distinct, away from the din of city life in the proximity of Nature on a plot measuring 1300 acres. The residence and education - both will be provided in this very natural environment.
There will be no buildings constructed with cement concrete. The construction will be eco – friendly. Here, the bamboo will be made insect – resistant wilt the help of bio – process and all the bamboos will be eco – friendly.
No chemical shall be permitted in the campus to pollute the environment. No vehicle driven with petrol, diesel shall be allowed to enter the area. No plastic bag or bottle or any other plastic object shall be permitted in the university premises.
As the centre of the University, will be mother cow, there will be a spacious cowshed which will be of a special kind. Whatever is good to us shall not be our criterion to keep the mother cow, in the shed, but whatever suits the mother cow shall be our prime consideration in the construction and management of the cowshed.
A large number of books dealing with Indian Culture, religion spiritualism health, mother - cow and other such subjects will be available in the library for an in-depth – study by the students.
To improve the quality of mother cow – breed it is under consider lion to develop bulls of good breed. With the improvement of the breed, the panchgavya obtained from the mother cow will also be of a good quality.
All the workers here are dedicated and devoted to mother cow and they, after giving up their respective occupations, are prepared to render their services to this holy cause according to their fullest capacity.
In the university, education will be imparted though Hindi but all the dedicated workers will communicate among themselves through Sanskrit. This will ensure sanctity in the Surroundings.
For the purpose of competent management and regulation of the project, the dedicated workers will do their best.
In order to teach all the courses of study, expert teachers from all over the country will be enlisted. These teachers will have not only theoretical knowledge but very strong practical background of their respective subjects.
No learning becomes effective simply by reading or writing but by practical experience and self learning through empirical know- how.
The study material has been designed by most experienced teachers as a result of their long experience which will enable the students to understand the Subject/Subjects deeply and easily.
Even lodging and boarding of students will be paid by their labour. In Indian culture three objects are never sold or purchased but, instead, they are considered as the source of receiving Punya (holy blessings) – water, grains, and learning. In this mother cow university, teaching, lodging, simple food – all these will be free of charge. The students will render their service in the performance of various tasks in this university.
A system of the production of 350 products from Panchgayas – such as drugs, manures, cosmetics – is being developed.
Under the syllabus of Panchgaya therapy, a hospital and an outdoor unit will be developed to impart practical training to the students according to their ratio.
Under the training of cow breed based agriculture and nursery, cultivation of herbs, grains, fruits and vegetables plantation will be taken up on a large scale as a form of bio – agriculture (organic agriculture)
In order to run the university quite smoothly, the major needs like water, grains, clothes, clay pots and electricity will be met by producing them in the university campus itself. The things that are not produced in the premises, will be taken from outside such as salt etc.
According to the western economics, capacity purchase company to manufacture products is considered as being above the poverty line and as such most of the village wealth goes to the cities. With the help of education in this university, efforts will be made to bring the urban wealth back to the villages.
Those who practice Ashtang yoga (Eightfold path of yoga) regularly for their spiritual development, will have right direction here for the changes that take place in their body, mind and soul. For their balance, panchgavyas will be of much help. As such the university will be a source of spiritual progress.
Because of the University being fully mother cow-based, the place will acquire the Sacredness of the holiest place which will result into a resolve for restoring the lost respect and grace of our mother cow.
A Gurukul (School following the ancient Gurukul system) is going to be beult in the University campus for the children above 5 years. Here free education relating to Indian 72 arts, Indian languages. History, Geography, Vedic mathematics, Astrology, Indian crafts will be imparted. Those who pass out from this University will be ideal citizens of our country. Through this University, it is envisaged to resolve to animate Nachiketa of Swami Vivekananda’s dreams (vision)
